We are looking for someone who can multi-task as Unit Manager/locations assistant. The Production Office will not be on set, so we need someone who will take care of all the practicalities as well as assist the locations Manager as far as daily location duties go. The two jobs do overlap anyway, but contracts, and other forward duties will remain solely in the Location Manager's hands.
Film Synopsis: Feature Film "Taj" Set and filmed in contemporary Melbourne, Australia – TAJ tells the story of Vjay, a charismatic but self absorbed writer who discovers he may not have long to live and so tries to redeem himself by mending a neglected relationship with his young daughter while his life slowly falls apart around him.
Shooting dates are 15th April to 27th May, but an immediate start would be optimal. The position is unpaid, but it is a great chance to work with some of the industry's best, with a friendly but fast paced crew. We have many award winning and well recognised keys on our crew, and while we can't offer a paid position, we can offer the chance for further experience and a credit on a feature film.
