Williamstown Beach

An easy train ride from the CBD or a short drive will have you at this beautiful spot located on the Hobsons Bay Coastal Trail. Offering an array of options for the whole family, you can enjoy a picnic at any number of incredible spots on the beach, kick the ball around at the sports fields opposite, or even dive in for a swim depending on the weather of course.

Werribee Gorge

Werribee Gorge has been shaped by over 500 million years of geological history, helping make it one of the best outdoor activities in Melbourne. Wyndham Park

Located on the banks of the Werribee River, this newly renovated recreation wonderland is screaming to be enjoyed by the whole family. Thanks to a $13 million investment this park now offers families a range of adventure things to do in Melbourne. The renewed park includes a large car park making parking a breeze and offers the kids an adventure playground that features an 11-metre tower with a spiral slide down from the top of the tower. Wyndham Park is dog friendly and offers picnic facilities to enjoy a meal with the family as well. Dinosaur Park, Truganina
Your eyes didn’t deceive you, the next hotspot on our list of outdoor activities in Melbourne is the Dinosaur Park in Truganina. This themed playground is an absolute must-visit in Melbourne for all families.
The park features an enormous Tyrannosaurus head slide coming out of the ground, dinosaur eggs hatching baby dinosaurs and a dinosaur see-saw for the kids as well. Giant dinosaur feet sit at the base of the slides which lead up to the playground above, and the fossil hunt will keep even the most curious minds occupied.

The popular and bright park is located in Point Cook and offers enough fun for the whole day out.
