Calling all Mexican lovers, this September, Hecho en Mexico has an event you cannot afford to miss. To celebrate Mexican Independence Day, Hecho en Mexico is collaborating with 400 Conejos Mezcal to host a one-night-only, that’s right, only one chance to enjoy a Mezcal Fiesta. Thankfully we have all the juicy details you need to secure your seat at this exclusive table, indulging in a night of delicious Mexican cuisine. Here is everything you need to know!

Hecho en Mexico has 17 locations across Victoria, so you know they know how to make good Mexican food. Mezcal Fiesta

Enough about why you should visit Hecho en Mexico on any night, let’s get to the juicy stuff, their Mezcal Fiesta! For one night only, Hecho en Mexico, 400 Conejos Mezcal and Theo Loizou are giving you the chance to celebrate Independence Day, Mexican style. Guests will enjoy a beautifully curated 5-course menu, crafted by this season’s Masterchef alum Theo Loizou. Paired with 400 Conejos Mezcalitas you can expect to enjoy a night of incredible food and drinks you’ve probably never experienced before.

Kicking off at 7pm on September 14 at their first venue in Fitzroy, 326 Brunswick Street, guests will be greeted with a 400 Conejos Mezcal shot on arrival to kickstart the celebrations properly. Roving entertainment will help lift the celebrations to a new level and be sure to capture your imagination as you sit down for this incredible dining experience.

Following on from the entertainment, Theo will provide guests an overview of the night’s celebrations and delve their senses in the curated 5-course menu he has crafted full of Mexican flavours, with each dish bearing his special twist. The aromatic menu includes:

  • Grilled Octopus tacos with spicy onion salsa
  • Lamb with Mezcal glaze
  • A sharing platter of tacos al pastor
  • Twice-cooked duck in mole and
  • A bread-and-butter pudding taco with Mezcal caramel to finish

If that menu isn’t enough to get the mouth-watering then we’re not sure what is. In keeping with Mexican tradition, you will also relish in 400 Conejos Mezcalitas indulging in five further distinct Mezcalitas through the nights including:

  • Coco Perez
  • Chilli Mango
  • Oaxaca Blues
  • Summer Passion and 
  • Oaxaca Old Fashioned

Tickets: Early bird tickets are now available for $80pp here. Second-release tickets will be available from September 1 for $90pp.
