Melbourne is a vibrant metropolitan city with endless options of things to do and see. If you’re just visiting for a short weekend, you’ll probably struggle to fit everything in! But there are some things you can’t miss out on during your stay, and bottomless brunch in Melbourne is one of them.
Guy Beringer revolutionised our meals with the invention of brunches, which he came up with as he often ended the weekend with a head-splitting hangover. Since then, they’ve been reinvented into bottomless brunches, where your food or drinks (or if you’re lucky both!) are unlimited. If you fancy an early, boozy lunch in Melbourne, we’ve got some great options in store for you!
1. Trinket, CBD
87 Flinders Lane, Melbourne
Pizza is a no-brainer, it’s simple and delicious and favoured by many. If you’re a big group with a diverse set of food preferences and dietary requirements, a bottomless pizza brunch is a perfect solution to your brunch worries.
At the Trinket, your bottomless pizza brunch comes with another added perk… unlimited cocktails! You’ve got a two-hour window in which to work your way through as much pizza and as many cocktails as you possibly can before heading out, rather full and probably a bit merry, into the city.
All of this costs just $55 per person. Make sure you come hungry so you can get your money’s worth. The offer is on each Saturday, so you can recover from a Friday night out (hair of the dog is on the menu) or get your Saturday started early on.
The venue has a rustic feel and old-fashioned décor. It’s conveniently located in Melbourne’s Central Business District (CBD), so you’ll be close to all the main attractions. What could beat a bottomless brunch in Melbourne CBD?
2. The Smith, Prahran
213-219 High Street, Pathan
The Smith Prahran offers brunch with a twist: non-stop entertainment! Every weekend they put on two-hour brunches, with slots available at 11 am and 2 pm, for some $65 to $80 per person. The weekend is kick-started on Saturday with The Smith Prahran’s brunch with soul.
You’ll be treated to unlimited wines, Spritz, or beer and a tasty meal off the brunch menu. Sit back and enjoy your food and drinks with the sweet sound of a gospel choir playing in the background. Gospel bottomless brunch is the perfect choice for a group of musical friends who want to jazz up their brunch experience.
And the fun doesn’t stop here. You’ll find it hard to beat the bar’s Drag Sunday Brunch in Melbourne. One of the most extraordinary, comical, and dazzling options for bottomless brunch in Melbourne. This is a fun way to end a weekend hen do or introduce your friends and family to something a bit different. You should definitely try out the Drag brunch at The Smith and fun bottomless brunch on a Sunday in Melbourne.
The venue has a glass ceiling and plenty of plants dotted around, giving it an open and outdoorsy feel. And when it comes to brunch-time entertainment, there’s nothing quite like it. The only drawback is, that whilst the drinks are bottomless, the brunch plates are not. The Smith is within Melbourne’s inner suburb Prahran, not too far from the city’s Central Business District.
3. Magic Mountain Saloon
62 Little Collins Street, Melbourne
Every Saturday the Magic Mountain Saloon opens up its modern and classy Thai restaurant for a bottomless brunch in Melbourne CBD. They have a single brunch slot from 11 am to 1 pm, so you’ll want to book in advance to make sure you don’t miss out. If you know an alcohol snob, this is the bottomless brunch in Melbourne to truly impress!
A definite plus of their bottomless brunch is that they cater for those who are on the booze and those who aren’t, so if you’re the designated driver you can get involved too. And you’ll be rewarded for your sacrifice, non-drinkers pay $45, and drinkers pay $65. There are endless amounts of tasty juices, sparkling wines, and cold beers for you to drink up.
The brunch menu is oriental themed, think dumplings, ribs, and noodles. After a fresh and light brunch, you’ll be ready to hit the city and explore Melbourne. This is a great brunch destination for groups of friends and couples alike. Head down to Little Collins Street and enjoy a tasty brunch right by Melbourne’s Central Business District.
4. Le Bon Ton, Collingwood
51 Gipps Street, Collingwood
If you fancy something greasy and filling, Le Bon Ton is the place to go for brunch. Hamburgers and BBQ flavours are popular on their American style brunch menu. But don’t worry if you’re veggo there are still options for you.
You get to pick one dish off the boozy brunch Melbourne menu, but you won’t need to worry about choosing your cocktail as bottomless cocktails are a part of the deal. Tasty and hearty, this is a fantastic option for a big group of friends looking to fill up before a long day. Their brunch is also a bit cheaper than most, starting at just $49.
Your BBQ brunch dream is in Melbourne’s Collington suburb, a short drive (or Uber if you’re on the drink!) away from Melbourne’s popular Central Business District.
5. Fargo & Co., Richmond
216 Swan Street, Richmond
Fargo and Co. host one of the best Melbourne boozy brunches. Pick a brunch dish off their hearty menu (burgers are a popular choice!) and eat up to the sound of the DJs latest tunes. With unlimited cocktails on offer, you won’t go thirsty. The company really has reinvented the brunch experience, turning it into a daytime party with a meal – a brunch club.
Each brunch slot lasts two hours. You can book in at 12 pm or, if you’re struggling to pull yourself out of bed after the night before, at 3 pm. Their brunch deal is available on Saturday and Sunday and costs $69.
You can enjoy this fun and cheeky brunch experience with the girls or the guys, or with your partner. It could also be a great way to start or finish a stag-do, hen-night, or birthday weekend. Whatever the celebration, head down to the Richmond suburb for your fun and cheeky brunch experience. One thing to note would be booking your bottomless brunch in Melbourne on a game day, as Richmond is inundated with people when there is a match at MCG, so check the AFL Fixture timetable before you book!

Love brunch! so happy we can travel to Australia soon – I’ll add these restaurants to my to-travel list.
All of these sound great! I would love that Pizza brunch!
I am all for a huge pizza brunch although the entertainment at The Smith might win out for me. I will have to check these out next time I come across the ditch.
While all of these sound delicious, I think my first stop would be at Little Collins Street!
I am so glad Melbourne is opened up again! I’ve missed you! And I can’t wait to get down for the drag brunch! That sounds so good!
